Hi i just noticed that I can’t control the audio volume of self hosted videos in my posts. The only option is mute or unmute.

Is there a way to fix this as the purpose of my website is to host videos and volume control for videos is key function for video watching.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

We’ve added the support for volume and fullscreen video. Basically, you simply need to enable Advanced Controls option under your Video Player settings (see: http://prntscr.com/b8x7im).

    Thanks.

I have done that already it only allows you to mute or unmute. It doesnt allow you to actually modify the loudness. For instance if i want the volume to be at 50% i cant do that.

    Hi there,

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue persists, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

    Hey Cristina,

Please use the Embedded Video element for Youtube or other video hosting services (see attachment).

    Thanks.
