WP Bakery Visual Composer has another update (v4.12.1 to v5.0) pending yet no X theme update has been pushed yet to include this. The latest theme version still appears to be Version: 4.6.4…is this correct?

WP Visual Composer V5.0 is already available on automatic updates. See attached screenshot.
If you can’t see it, please try revalidating your X theme. See this:https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/Hope this helps.
Unfortunately this does not answer my question about how to update VC to the latest version. I have automatic updates for the theme already…and the latest version of the theme installed…yet VC is still on v4.12.1 instead of v5.0.
Can you please advise?

Thank you for the clarifications! Please make sure that you have validated your X theme. Once it is validated, You should be seeing the update now button in the plugins section just like this:
Or you can go directly to Dashboard > Updates > Plugins section
If nothing else works out, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look and fix the issue?
To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
