    With the new X theme does Visual Composer plugin need to be installed or is it built into the theme? It alwasy shows as it needs to be updated but when I try to update it wordpress wont let me. Can I delete it?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! Visual Composer plugin is optional and you can install it, if you need to use that builder. In your case, you can delete the plugin and install it again to get the latest version of it or you can simply delete it (if you don’t have any pages created using VC).

    I do use it on a normal basis to build out most of my pages. If I delete and re-install will the site remain the same or will I have to re compose pages?

    If you build pages with Visual Composer you do need to have the plugin installed and active.
