Amma1ParticipantHi, I used to use visual composer with as my main page builder for my site before cornerstone. Recently I wanted to switch back to visual composer as it’s easier to manager larger multicolumn layouts but some elements of visual composer seem to not work. Specifically the recent posts element just displays the short code in text on the page rather than displaying the actual posts.
[recent_posts type="post" count="4" orientation="horizontal" offset="1" category="" id="" class="" style=""]any ideas about how I can fix this?
Thanks

Thanks.

Amma1ParticipantThanks,
shouldn’t the X theme be doing this already?

ChristianModeratorPlease try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If that doesn’t help, you’re most probably using an old version of PHP. Please try to upgrade to at least version 5.6.
Thanks.
