Hello,

Recently I reached out to WP Bakery for an issue with Visual Composer “VC”. Overall the tuturials for VC look nothing like the interface that came with my X Theme. WP Bakery says that the creator of X Theme edited VC so they can’t help and I should reach out to Theme.CO.

Specifically I’m trying to work with responsive settings for VC and those seem to be shut down by X theme.

Here is the issue in detail.

I’m trying to achieve a split screen design where the page is literally just two images side by side. So far, it looks close to what I want if I use gaps set at 50% above and below the “shop” and “portfolio” buttons.

However on mobile I need to remove these Gaps so that both images stack on top of each other without the user needing to scroll to see the second one. How can I achieve this? Here is my setup with no custom css – https://cl.ly/hZMP

Here was WP Bakery’s response –

The 4.12.1 is our latest version. The responsive settings at your end is disabled by the theme author. The “gap” is not our standard element. It is most likely added by your theme author to enhance the theme functionality or is coming from a third party add-on. You can check our standard elements/features by creating an online demo here: http://vcpreview.com/
I would suggest you to get in touch with the respective author so he can guide you with the same. Kindly check.

Try setting up the size of your gap by using % instead of px.

If that does not work, please provide your URL.
