    I bought and installed X 4 theme but it says that I need to update my VC plugin to 4.12. I was under the impression it was included with the purchase of X theme, was I wrong?

    It’s not an auto update. It sends me to the purchase site. If i go to VC settings in wordpress admin it ask for a purchase code.

    Can you confirm that your theme has been validated properly with your licence code?

    Yes, I went through the validation process and entering my purchase code. Site is validated. Is the VC included in X theme separate than the one I have installed as a plugin? I do have VC on my admin sidebar which wasnt there until I installed X theme 4.

    Latest version of X supports visual composer v4.11.2 and you don’t need to update it now, please check this link : https://theme.co/changelog/
