    I have always been able to edit using the Visual Composer on the site’s pages and suddenly cannot load the front-end editor at all.

    I have made all theme and plugin updates.

    Visual Composer’s front-end editor is not fully supported in X. Please see https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-visual-composer/

    Hi there,

    Visual Composer has a Frontend Editor. You can enable it in Settings > Visual Composer > X Integration. However, we can’t recommend the use of the front end editor, which is why it’s disabled by default. If you use the front end editor, you should use the Visual Composer native shortcodes. Due to complexities in how the front end editor works, it’s difficult to get all our shortcodes to work seamlessly with it, without rewriting a good deal of them. As mentioned in our Visual Composer Knowledge Base article, this is not something we’re able to provide support for.
