    Hey guys,

I’m unable to use Visual Composer after my site updated to WordPress 4.5.3. The loading animation just spins and spins.

I’m on X version 1.8.4 and don’t want to update because it will completely break my site. I plan on doing a full site redesign over the summer but as for right now, I don’t have the time.

Is there anyway I can update Visual Composer and not the entire theme? I’m not even sure that would fix the problem though.

    Paul

I’m going to send over my credentials in a separate post.

    Hi There,

You updated your WordPress to latest version, you should update your themes and plugins to the latest version as well to avoid compatibility issues. And you’re using an out dated version of X|Theme that is not compatible with the latest WP. If your schedule is not favourable to do the site wide updating, please down grade your WordPress to its previous version. Or restore your site on time before the WordPress update.

    Thanks.

I have tried rolling back to the previous version of wordpress and the problem still exists. Is there anything else I can do?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. All of your plugins should be the same old version you used earlier. It’s really hard to keep them compatible while some of them are updated and some of them are not. We always recommend to update everything regularly to avoid such issues. You can keep using the default editor for now if possible as it’s hard to assist on such issue and you know better which version of other plugins you were using.

    Cheers!
