Hello! I just updated the X Theme and am on the latest version of WordPress.

Visual Composer looks to be constantly loading and does not allow me to edit my content. See screenshot.

I have checked your site and I can see you are using very older version of X and Visual Composer as well – http://prntscr.com/df953v

Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

Hi! Can you check again, I just updated to the most recent version of X this morning.

My plugin page told me Visual Composer was out of date a few minutes ago. I just upated that too and now some of my content is missing…buttons, images, etc. 🙁

I am not sure if any element missing as I didn’t see your page earlier but it should not happen if the page was saved.

Also you have a copy of older version of X, kindly remove that from wp-content/themes/.

Here is an example:

On http://www.pearblossomcare.com/programs/nursery/ you will see there are no images.

If you look on the edit screen of visual composer, you will see there is an image (3rd row, see screenshot).

Further, if you look at the individual image element, you will see that an image is properly loaded (also on the screenshot).

I’m also realizing headlines aren’t working either…is this a shortcode issue??

What about headlines that aren’t appearing? Those look to be shortcodes.

Shortcode seems fine but seems they are not populating properly. I guess it’s not saved on the database properly. Re-adding the missing content should solve the issue.

Hi,

Removing and re-adding the image and the content did not work.

I also tried creating a new page and adding an image and a headline to it, neither of which appear on the page: http://www.pearblossomcare.com/test/

A screenshot of the editor is attached so you can see that I did in fact add the content.

Hello There,

Thanks for providing the information. Regretfully there is no files in the given ftp access. It is evident here:

For the meantime, I would recommend that you do the following steps:
1] Please put your site in Under maintenance mode. You ca use a 3rd party plugin or make a landing page.
2] Go to X Addons > Customizer Manager and download the XCS file. This will serve as a backup for the customizer settings.
3] Go to Appearance > Themes and switch the theme to twenty sixteen.
4] Please delete the X theme. Do not worry, you will be reuploading the latest X theme later on.
5] Please download the latest X theme from your dashboard or directly get it from here: http://themeco-packages.s3.amazonaws.com/d940c8c440f230138995a40c4daf0904/x_package/x.zip
6] Install X again by uploading it in Appearance > Themes

7] Activate X theme.
8] Please go to X Addons > Customizer Manager and re upload the XCS file which you have downloaded from step#2. This step is crucial to make sure that you will have all the same customizer settings in your previous settings.
9] Please test Visual Composer again.
