There’s this block of VC code at the top of the site’s pages, even in the WordPress dashbord. If I disable VC it clears things up, but of course the pages lose their structure and have trailing VC code here & there.

I believe this may be the result of a W3 Total Cache plugin crisis. Had to delete it manually the other night. The only residual issues afterward were that I had to disable the breadcrumbs, because the links were’t finding their “offset” and displayed the errors. I was hopeful that updating today to X 4.6.3 & dumping the cache again would overwrite the confused code, but no luck.

Can you help? I’m attaching 2 screenshots, and the site can be viewed at http://www.cherrielaporte.com.

Thanks, farhaddc. Anyone else out there having this issue?

If we could bump this up in the help line, it would be great. My client & some of her followers just spotted the funky code, so this just became an emergency!

    Thanks!

This is also emergency for us. So far no answer from the developers. Even our own site is facing this issue.

Latest update: The website can still be viewed (clunky code & all), but I can no longer log in via /wp-admin/ and get the white screen (still with clunky code, image attached).

Accessing wp-admin/huge-previously-used-link-to-customizer presented the login screen (still with error code, see attached image), but won’t let me login & gives a cookie error (image attached for this too).

    Hi Susan,

We’re sorry you’re having this issue. Although, I can’t duplicate this on my test site using updated X theme. If wp-debug mode is ON on your wp-config.php file please turn this to OFF and check again. If the issue still persists, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Turning the debug to FALSE in wp-config.php definitely worked – didn’t know this was even on. Sorry about that!

    Thanks a bunch!
