Hi, I’m using the Vimeo Hero template for Slider Revolution and set a background video to play. I set the option to loop, but the video will loop sometimes. It’s very random when it will not loop and show the Vimeo recommended videos splash.

Also, the transition from the initial cover image to the video itself isn’t always a consistent transition. It will sometimes just black out and then load the video up with the image.

Background video should not show the recommended videos splash. I have checked your slider and it’s looping perfectly. I can’t see such issue.

I just tested it on another computer and on its first try, the video didn’t loop and it’s showing the Vimeo recommendations. I’ve done this on a total of 3 other computers and it’s just not consistent.

Please try increasing the the End At setting (see attachment) to the same length as your video.

Hello There,

Thanks for the updates! I have tested your site over and over and I was able to replicate the issue. During my test, I went ahead and edited your slider. I changed the start and end time of the video. I used 00:02 and 00:24. Please re check your site again as it follows that it is now looping.

Just checked the page again and unfortunately the video is still ending without looping. Image attached showing what I see after the video plays once.

Hi there,

Under Source Settings > Arguments Vimeo option, please add loop=1.

Example,

title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&api=1&loop=1

Vimeo uses iframe as embed code, there is a case that some options may not pass through. Hence, adding arguments will directly apply it through iframe’s source setting.

I added loop=1 to the end of our arguments line but after saving and checking the slider configs again that section disappears.

Hello There,

Please set the Loop video as Loop, Slide is paused. And then maybe you can change the slider type a standard slider.
