heresjohnneeParticipantAny idea why when adding a video layer to a revolution slider slide using a vimeo video ID I get a ‘mod security’ error and it doesn’t load?
Is this an acceptable way to setup a homepage video background?
Thank you,

heresjohnneeParticipantI thought I should clarify what I’m trying to address.
I currently have a backgound video slider set up (link to follow) using the specfic pages’s settings in wordpress to pull a direct link to an mp4 file hosted on vimeo. However, that link continually expires so this plan is not going to work.
If I can accomplish the same effect using revolution slider and a slide with a video layer, I can use the vimeo video ID and hopefully that will not expire. So, this is why I want to know about mod security error and get this functioning.
Thank you.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! It usually happens when theURL requested by the client is no longer available. Could you try some different video?
Cheers!

heresjohnneeParticipantThe original video is still available. I switched to a different video ID and am still receiving the same error. Can you please advise?

heresjohnneeParticipantI’m confused on how this is supposed to be hepful. My video is on Vimeo, not Youtube. Also, I’ve looked at the documentation and it is setup properly.
Once more the issue is a MOD SECURITY ERROR. Please explain why I’m having a MOD SECURITY ERROR on a video layer within rev slider. <—- this is what i need a solution for.

ChristianModeratorPlease see the Vimeo documentation in the Vimeo tab (see attachment).
The Mod Security issue is not related to WordPress but your web hosting or server setup. Please contact your web host for it.
Thanks.
