I’m trying to embed an MP4 video. I can do it with YouTube but not with a local MP4 video. Here’s the page, it’s a three column page and I put the YouTube in the first column and the attempt at the MP4 embed in the second column.

    http://wementoryou.org/stress-holiday-stress-free/

The source for the MP4 video is: http://wementoryou.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Holiday-Stress-Module-1.mp4

    Thank you.

I put a third video in, another MP4. This one plays but no sound. 🙁

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! You uploaded the video as a poster image, I just replaced it with an image and now it is working fine. Please clear your browser’s cache and reload the site.

    Cheers!

Thank you, the third video (higher res) still doesn’t have sound. I duplicated the 2nd column video and replaced the video track with ice_video_20161125-114825.mp4 from the media storage. The video has sound on it, it’s just not playing back.

I cleared the cache after I loaded this video, didn’t make a difference.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

It’s playing okay on my end. Please try it on another device, please note that it may have the delay on playing depending on your internet speed. It doesn’t play right away from my end, perhaps, your hosting doesn’t support streaming so it has to download the video before it plays it.

    Thanks!
