    How do I get this video to playback in HQ?

    I’m currently using the Video Player plugin with the following URL

    https://www.youtube.com/watch/-iq4ulguVRY?VQ=HD1080

    but it still plays back in low quality.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

    You should use video embed element ( Youtube Embed code ) instead of video player element ( Youtube URL ). It will only work on chrome since other browser doesn’t have support for youtube/video media format.

    And since it’s video player element, it doesn’t have a way to load a high-quality video, youtube will assume that the request is from the player that can only handle low-resolution video.

    Try it on Firefox browser and it’s not working.

    what embed code should I use? when I use:

    https://www.youtube.com/embed?v=-iq4ulguVRY

    it doesn’t work.

    Hi there,

    That’s a URL and not an embed code.

    Let’s use this video as a sample https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y66j_BUCBMY, please visit it.

    Then click Share button and it will display Share, Embed, Mail tabs. Hit the embed tab and copy the embed code.

    Maybe your video is private, it says “This video does not exist.” on my end.
