    Hi,

    Trying to get some self-hosted video content in a portfolio item. Ive got it going pretty nicely using cornerstone and Video Player. I notice though that the controls stay visible on iPad rather than fading like on Desktop. Cant use Hide Controls as that makes the video unplayable on iPad. Is this intentional or am I missing something?

    Hi,
    As I said above, Hide Controls makes the video unplayable on an iPad. My issue here is the control bar stays visible on iPad.

    Hi there,

    I think that’s pretty logical. There is no such function as hover on iPad or mobile device so it would be tricky to make them same as desktop. That’s why it’s showing by default.

    OK…well that’s not very helpful. Your own Embed Video in Cornerstone/shortcode hides the controls on iPad with YouTube and Vimeo content. Just trying to get the same result with self hosted. I know there’s no Hover State but most solve this with multiple touches.
