Hello,

Video background appears to be working great on Chrome but having issues with Safari and Firefox.

Firefox issue is attached. Everything is pushed to the right on first load but fixes itself when you start scrolling.

Safari is taking forever to load the background so it is just showing white.

Hi there,

Let’s try placing this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

.x-section.bg-video {
  overflow: auto;
  width: 100% !important;
}

Thanks for this, I believe that fixed the firefox issue!

Safari delay is still there. Seems to be about 15 seconds of just white before the video background loads.

Thoughts? Screenshot attached.

Hello There,

I have tested the homepage in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. So far I do not have any issue viewing it. The issue could not be replicated. It could be just a browsing cache issue. Please clear your browsing cache or use private browsing mode.

Hello,

I’m still having an issue on Safari. I reduced the video size considerably. It is now about 4mb but I’m still getting around an 8-9 second load delay in the Safari browser.

Hi there,

4MB is still a large file for web and you will have to wait for few extra seconds no matter how faster your Internet is, your host needs to be equally faster as well.
