    Hi,

    I have a video lightbox on my homepage that is activated when a user clicks the ‘Watch the Showreel’ button

    http://bluestackdigital.com/

    but every time I load my home page (and sometimes other pages) in either chrome or safari the audio from the video auto plays in the background,

    what might be causing this and how can I fix it?

    The code is correct but not sure if it is working on your current setup or you missed something else. Would you mind sharing us your admin credentials so we could chek your setup closer and we could suggest the best code for you.

    I checked your site and didn’t experience the issue. The audio plays with the video. Would you mind giving us details about your OS and browser?

    I’m running Mac OS X 10.11.5 and the latest version of Chrome and Safari. It’s weird, Chrome plays the sound but Safari doesn’t, Safari does however have the audio icon on the tab showing there is audio playing…

    So I cleared my browser and Cloudflare cache, reloaded and still the same problem…I even logged out of WordPress to check and the audio from the video still plays on any page I load but only on desktop…

    could it be a Cloudflare thing?

    Can you try deactivating the plugin and see if that fixes the issue.

    So I’ve gone through everything, all the plugins and it only happens with ConvertPug activated.

    Also once I deactivated ConvertPlug the lightbox loaded on a Windows 8.1 machine in Chrome.

    Hi there,

    It could be a combination of both SuperFly and ConvertPlug, they have conflicts which already been reported. Stay tune for the fix.
