MattatoniParticipantIs there a way to modify the browser window title?
Seems strange the way it is currently.
Right now the window title for the home page shows [Site Title] + “|”(vertical bar) + [Tagline] (… both taken from Settings/General in WordPress admin).
So the title will show up as something like “My Site |” if you don’t have a tagline….which looks really odd.And for pages (other than home) it shows [Page Title] + vertical bar + [Site Title].
So:
+ Is there a way to remove dangling vertical bar for homepage title?+ Reverse order of page/site … so it’s “My Site | Contact” instead of “Contact | My Site” for example.
Would be great to do this WITHOUT having to use Child Theme. Any ideas?
Thanks!September 15, 2016 at 3:17 am #1176235
NicoModeratorHI There,
Thanks for writing in.
In order to modify the browser tab title, you need to do it using child theme.
How to setup child theme: https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/
To remove the vertical bar:

You could follow the thread below on how to modify or change your browser tab title.

Hope it helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
