Jan SParticipantHello,
Yake, from sales, brought to my attention that actually its not Themeco not publishing any updates, but somehow my updater is broken. Nearly all of my installations show:
“Eine neue Version von WPBakery Visual Composer ist verfügbar. Details der Version 5.0 ansehen. Eine automatische Aktualisierung für dieses Plugin ist nicht verfügbar. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?”
Which is german an means: VC is outdate, get an update. But instead of “get an update” (and the link to click to update automatically), it sais:
” Eine automatische Aktualisierung für dieses Plugin ist nicht verfügbar”
which means: there is no automatic update available.
Now, emmm, why? Its registered, valided, and worked up util VC 4.12.1 (and then stopped).
What do i need to do to get the updates back?

Jan SParticipantBtw: Downloading the theme via Themeforest also gets me the VC 4.12.1, not the 5. So if im going to buy a new version today, i will get an outdated system (and being forced to register with Themeco to get the update)

JoaoModeratorHi Jan,
There is no need to purchase a new one, did you try to download from our Dashboard?
https://community.theme.co/dashboard/
You can always try to delete the plugin and re-install on the Addon tabs.
Thanks
Joao

Jan SParticipantUmm, do i need to do that for, ehh, like, 30 installations? Uninstall, Reinstall? No Auto-Update (Overwrite) ?

RadModeratorHi there,
Visual composer is only available through automatic updates. It’s not yet available on ThemeForest, but should be included on next X theme version.
I’m not sure why the auto update isn’t working on your installation, but it does work on all of my installation. It could be related to configuration or transients. I can check it if you’ll provide your admin and FTP login credentials.
Thanks!
