MarianaBuckParticipantI have 2 issues.
First is VC Post Grid. When I choose “Basic Grid: Side content” I get a huge image, so they only way I have been successful is by using “Masonry Grid: Side content” but that just looks weird.
How do I resize the image on Basic Grid and how do I remove the grey background?Second is the Grid image resize. I am using Essen Grid and I cant make the full image show on the grid.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for providing the information.
1] You can remove the grey background color by setting a background color in the design options.

And to resize the image, you need to modify the selected grid template. You have to make sure that the height mode is not set to the original. Please see this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/belawk
2] And for the Essential grid, please edit your grid and and make sure that the image source is set to medium, larger or original size.

RadModeratorHi there,
I tried it too but there is no option to change image size for VC’s Post Grid. It’s only limited to that.
About the essential grid, you’re displaying portrait images on a box with the even layout. Even if you set the size to original, it still has the container that limits it. On its grid settings, change the value for Items Ratio X:Y. 4:3 ratio is almost square, try something that will make it vertical rectangle.
Thanks!

MarianaBuckParticipantI will try that, thank you

MarianaBuckParticipantstill no results. The background color doesnt change no matter what I do. I will use the masonry grid with side content but is there a way to make it not fade?

RadModeratorHi there,
Are you referring to Essential Grid? Try changing the animation speed to 0 on your grid animation’s setting.
Thanks!

MarianaBuckParticipantwhat do i do about the background color?
June 16, 2016 at 6:45 pm #1046094
RadModeratorHi there,
Try modifying the current grid in use, for example, http://www.bwimagazine.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=vc_grid_item&vc_gitem_template=masonryGrid_WithSideContent. Then click the gear icon, and change the background color. The current background color is #f4f4f4
Hope this helps.
