daveshu1234ParticipantHello,
I have purchased X for a website for a client.Since I am first setting up the site & getting the layout right on a dummy domain, and will then transfer it all to my clients domain, will this cause a problem if I validate the license now?
In other words, if I activate the license on http://www.my-dummy-domain.com, will it still be valid when I transfer it to http://www.my-clients-actual-domain.com ?
Thing is I need a photo gallery and can’t access the Envira gallery unless I validate the copy of X. So I’m stuck.
Thanks.

Prasant RaiModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
With the release of 4.4.2 we have announced validated development environments. Now with each purchase of X you’ll be able to run a validated development and production environment simultaneously. For more information on validation process please walk-through our product validation guide:
https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
Thanks.

Juda1ParticipantWhy is Cornerstone saying to “manage licenses” when I validated the theme? I too am using a “production” site instead of the real site

daveshu1234ParticipantI have not got the foggiest clue what you are talking about in that post.
I need to set up the site on my demo site before I can transport the finished site to the customers domain.
I want things to be easy, not to have to read through a mad load of nonsense and try to implement something just so I can unlock the plugins that supposedly come with the theme so I can build the thing.
What happens if I try and follow those instructions and do it wrong? I’m not going to buy another license so what then?
Make things EASY not un-necessarily complex.

daveshu1234ParticipantRight I’ve done it, but your post needs simplifying, it’s too confusing.
Thanks.

RahulModeratorSorry for the trouble it may have caused you. We’re glad you were able to figure it out.
