    Hi,
    I am trying to run and update my site with x-theme installed on a subdomain for development.

    I am having trouble updating x-theme. Is says updated but actually isn’t. I think that it is because x-theme was not validated.

    I clicked the “Update API Key” in the Product Validation back-end page and that made the API key listed disappear.
    I then check that you could / need to add the development site to the product LICENSE area on this site. I have done that but it still does not work and pasting the API key back in does not help.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – Your license key (purchase code)
    – WordPress Admin username / password

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi there,

    We’ve changed the way X validates product. Since you’re using x v4.3.0, please follow this link https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/ and update your theme manually. Next follow this link https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation and validate your product.

    Now you should be able to update plugins automatically.
