phuseinParticipantHi,
Thanks for the help.
I’ve looked through all the other posts and can’t seem to find the answer to this problem.
So the facts !!
i bought x-theme got a purchase code.
installed the theme on godaddy hosting and validated the purchase code… worked fine
we’ve killed that site, and i’m building a new one.
i installed mamp on my macbook and have download the latest version of WP and installed the latest X-theme.
my site address on my local machine is http://localhost
when i go to that address the wordpress comes up and i’m good.
went to Addons and put in the purchase code
the first time i tried i got an error saying that this had already been assigned to another site.
so i went to “manage” licences and removed the old site address from the list.
i then put the purchase code back in under Addons… and it seemed to validate. It said i have validated and so i started working on my new site.
I updated the Cornerstone plugin to the latest version and could see all the extensions. Here’s were the trouble began…
I forget where i went exactly in wordpress… but its that place where from a dropdown you can select various theme types like Icon, Ethos, Stack. There’s a bunch of them and you can set up demo content.
So i selected one Renew4 and clicked on “set up demo content”
It started trying to do it… and then i got the message “experiencing technical difficulties” and got stuck there.
I logged back into http://localhost and suddenly i saw that Cornerstone had reverted to the older version…i cannot see any of the extensions either.
On the Appearance page in WP i could see the message “This X Licence is not validated Fix”…
I clicked on the Fix link and it takes me to AddOns and i add the purchase code… and it won’t validate… all i get is Uh Oh… When i click on the “Details” for why it failed… i just get a blank box…
I’ve tried to go to manage licences and add the URL of the site that we will eventually use, and create a development site with “http://localhost”… but that doesn’t work.
I’ve tried to deactivate Cornerstone and restarted the site … but nothing seems to work. Please help… as i was planning on using some of those extensions… and am using Cornerstone to update the content of the site.
Thanks in advance for your help.

RupokMemberHi there,
Kindly do the following :
#1. From your Themeco account page, unassigned the site and assign again. Since it’s localhost, you should assign this as staging site.
#2. Install latest version of X and Cornerstone manually to the localhost site. Then try validating your site with the purchase key.
Cheers!
