    Hi,

I’m trying to create events via X Theme and have decided to use the portfolio items to list my events.

There are a couple of things I’m trying to achieve:

    1. Custom Fields
I would like to create the following custom fields for the creation of future events:
    a. Event Date
    b. Event Venue A (Address that includes Postal Code)
    c. Event Venue B (for listing on “Recent Post)

What would be the value I input?

Kindly advise how I should go about it, and adding the fields to my “portfolio item”.

    See attachment – “Custom Fields”

    2. Recent Posts
For my recent posts, I would like to replace the “Published Date” with the new custom fields, with the following format:
    “Event Date, Event Venue B”

    See attachment – “Recent Posts”

    3. Formatting “Portfolio Item”

    a. How can I add padding to the portfolio item page as it is currently stretch to full-width?
    b. Is there a way to list the “Portfolio Item”/”Event Name” at the top of the page?

    See attachment – “Full Width”

Please see private reply for links & attachments.

    Thanks in advance!
    Alvin

    Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.

    Thank you for your understanding.
