obviousmarksParticipantHi,
We are using Co-schedule to bring Evernote post drafts in. When I click on cornerstone it tells me to “Hold Up! The content has been modified outside of Cornerstone. Editing in Cornerstone will replace the current content.” When I click yes, proceed, it totally deletes the post content. YIKES – what good is that. At least visual composer maintained my content. 🙁

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! Editing post drafts is not possible for the moment. Please keep in mind that you can only edit pages created inside Cornerstone. Any post or page created outside of Cornerstone, when you edit it, it will disregard the previous content thus deleting your content and replaces it with Cornerstone formatting shortcodes.
What I could recommend is that you should copy first the contents of your drafts before you edit it in Cornerstone. When you are in the Cornerstone editing live preview, you may insert a section, a column and a text element, then you can paste the contents of your drafts.
Our developers is still working on a smarter way to this kind of feature. Once they’ll have ready, it will be updated and rolled out in our future releases. Please bear with us.
Thank you for your understanding.

AdminSavvyPCIParticipantI’d like to bump this, as we are close to launching a site that we plan on using coschedule with. Having the ease to publish automatically through to our admin and be able to edit in cornerstone as needed will be super helpful.

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in and showing interest in this feature. I will send in another request so our dev team knows users are looking for this feature. We can’t promise implementation or a timeline at this point, however, we do listen to our users and we’re always trying to improve. When we see something beneficial we do our best to make it happen. We’re actually working on a number of things so if this does get added to the pipeline, we’ll be sure to announce it when it’s ready. Thanks for understanding! Have a great day!
