    Hi guys,

    I’m using the X Child theme and the automatic update to the new theme version 4.5 isn’t happening.

    I don’t want to update manually because I don’t know how to upgrade when the child theme is in place. Could you please advice on what to do in this case?

    What kind of error do you get? If it’s something like “update package not found”, just give it some time and retry.

    Hi @goangie

    Using Child theme won’t affect the update process of the parent theme. Even inactive theme gets update notification if you notice. So it would be better if you clarify the issue a bit details, like what kind of error you are getting or what’s happening when you proceed to update.

    A few days later and still no update going through. The error I’m getting is “update package not available”, see here: https://snag.gy/9LTFoA.jpg.

    Hi @goangie,

    You can revoke the current license then validate your site again.

    Let us know how it goes!
