I am trying to update X and turn on Auto Updates, but to do that I have to input my API key and it’s not accepting it on the Product Validation page. Any suggestions?

If you still face issues with validation please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– Purchase code

Hi Brock,

Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone if you have X license validated.

Please do the following:

1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

Great that worked! Now I still can’t connect to Cornerstone. Is there something I need to do to be able to start using Cornerstone?

What you mean by you can´t connect Cornerstone?

Cornerstone is not validated? If yes, please provide us your FTP credentials so we can take a look on your installation because CS should validate automatically as soon as you validate X

If you are having different issue, please provide more details.

Hi There,

Please turn off X-Shortcode plugins.

Turn off temporarly your security and cache plugins.

Update X To version 4.61

Access Your Addons tab in your Wp Admin Dashboard

Cornerstone should install automatically.

At the moment you have been building your pages with Visual Composer

If Cornerstone gets installed you can uninstall x-shortcodes plugin for good.

To access Cornerstone, you select “Front End Editor” correct? I did all of the steps and it still just seems to be loading when I click that. It says cornerstone is installed and active and on version 1.3.0

Any suggestions?

Hi Brock,

Your pages are Edited with Visual Composer

You can keep editing with Visual Composer if you want, but there is no way to transfer your page from Visual Composer to Cornerstone, you will need to edit them from Zero.

If you Click Front End Editor that will take you to the front end editor of Visual Composer not Cornerstone.

You can create new pages and click Edit With Cornerstone if you want.
