bsjolingParticipantHi
Can’t find clear enough info on this one… hope you can help.‘Child theme contains outdated templates~~~~~~~~~~~
x/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php version 2.0.14 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.3,
x/woocommerce/single-product/product-thumbnails.php version 2.3.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.6.3,However I can’t find anything in cpanel… I know these updates may not be important now, however this is something that I need to nail as this will not always be the case.
Hope there is a straight forward one on this, I know technically it’s not an X issue, however it sort of is.
Kind regards

ChristianModeratorHey there,
The latest version of X does not have outdated WooCommerce templates. Please ensure everything is up to date. Also, check your customizations.
Since this is not an issue with X, we’re sorry but we could not help. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/
Thank you for understanding.

bsjolingParticipantI get that, however this must be an issue when using child themes, which I believe is a recommended way of keeping customisations across updates.
Are you suggesting that I can make a new child theme, (copying the custom css etc from the old and pasting into the new)
from the current build and it will have up to date templates?Everything is up to date. This has been posted before, but the answers have not been clear.
best

ChristianModeratorSorry for the confusion but this is not an issue even when using a child theme as it simply inherits the templates from the parent theme. I checked all my test sites (child theme active) and there are no outdated WooCommerce templates. That is because, I do not have WooCommerce customized templates. Please check the customization you’ve done in your child theme especially looking at the WooCommerce folder.
Thanks.

bsjolingParticipantwow… you saying I’ve customized woo templates? I must be some kind of guru… If only I knew what that meant.
BTW, it is an issue.
I understand that it may be out of your jurisdiction, and I appreciate the pointers. Could do with just a few more…
as far as I know I’ve never knowingly fiddled with anything deeper than standard child css, some pasted js & php code in customizer.
Thanks for checking.December 29, 2016 at 3:26 pm #1309047

bsjolingParticipantThanks Joao
I think the site is quite nice… I find it cumbersome work, but put in the hours. Cheers for having a look.
