    Hello,

I’ve just updated the Theme X to the latest version, after this I get the message on my site that the stylesheet is missing.

At the dashboard theme page I get a message that the theme doesn’t exist.

It also says I don’t have a cornerstone/themeco purchase license but I’ve purchased one and it worked, only after the update it doesn’t take the code anymore.

Could you please help me solve this issue?

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

Upon checking, it looks like the update wasn’t complete. There a lot of missing files in your theme.

I was able to fix though, you may now activate your theme.

    Thanks

    Hi There

    Please try following this steps:

1] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
2] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
3] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

Your envato purchase code should work.

If you are still facing issues after trying this method, please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Joao

    Hi,

It looks like the code works again, only the site doesn’t look like anything before. Does this mean that all my work is lost?

    Kids regards,

    Maud

    Hello Maud,

Did you customize or update main x theme code before?
Since, we don’t know how your site look before this update, can you clarify each part that is different and how was it before? The update shouldn’t alter your settings. Customizer settings is on the database.

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. Again, how did you customize like this? Did you use the Child Theme or edited the parent theme? You can change the stack to the right stack from Customizer and check aback again.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. According to your screenshot (what it looked like before), I understand that somehow the page template has been changed. Maybe it was Fullwidth but it’s now default template. So you can try changing the template to fullwidth and disabling the page title from page settings.

Also you can review your Content Layout settings from Customize > Layout and Design and check these settings – http://prntscr.com/b7y6it

I know you might be a bit lost and frustrated but kindly check these and your site (as it was like before) is just a few click away. As we don’t change user’s site so you need to adjust hose.

Let us know if you still face any other issue. We’ll be there for you.

    Cheers!
