    Hi there,

    the latest update has completely changed the layout and branding of our site.
    Please help asap.

    there are no more visuals, colours, margins, etc.

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Hi There,

    I have searched the latest problem update with visual composer and X theme. The problem usually occurs because of caching. Please contact your host to clear your caching in your hosting and in your setup, clear any caching plugins that you have.

    Thank you for that. The site (and my browsers) cache was purged, but to no avail unfortunately.

    I’ve restored the previous version of theme X and this fixes the problem for our site for now, as a temporarily fix.
    We’d still like to be able to update our site to the latest version, so can you please investigate why this happened and how to prevent this in the future.

    Hi there,

    In that case I’d suggest to use a staging server. You can create another instance of your site on a sub domain and validate as staging domain. So that you can update there first and fix the issues if you face any. We can assist you to investigate the issues as well. Then you can proceed to live site.
