LTWWordpressParticipantHey all,
As you can see in the picture, the icon in the Navbar for updates says I have 3 updates, but Updates shows I have only WPBakery VC to update (side note: this won’t update, saying “Update package not available” but I’ve had this problem before and I don’t even use VC so I’m not too worried about that). I have noticed this Navbar problem for probably a month now.
If this is a major issue, could you guys help me out? If not, just let me know that my site isn’t going completely crazy on me.
Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site and I can confirm that it is indeed displaying updates of 3 items but only Visual Composer is needing for some updates. I have flushed the cache and even remove the transient data yet it is not helping at all. By the way, the latest supported VC version in X is only 4.12 at this moment. You can check out the version compatibility here: https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/
Our developers will be testing the latest VC first before pushing any updates in our X plugin repository since VC is bundled in X thus we are the ones who are in control of this updates. To fully understand how we utilize Visual Composer plugin in X, please check out this article: https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-visual-composer/
Hope this explains it briefly.

LTWWordpressParticipantThanks for your help!
Is it possible that VC is holding back two other related plugins from updating?

Rue NelModeratorHello Again,
That I am not sure of because it seems all of the plugins is up to date. It could be from a transient or cache or something else. It can only be check right after we updated VC which will be release soon.
Thank you for your understanding.
