    Please help. I am trying to get my visual composer to update and it keeps giving me – Update Failed: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

    I was building on a temp domain and recently took the site live on the actual domain and now I can’t get VC to update and it won’t work in the frontend.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for writing in!

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Hi there,

    Visual Composer v4.12.1 is the current X compatible version and we still haven’t pushed any update for VC 5.x. So you can ignore that update notification for now.

    Check the latest X compatible version numbers from here (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).
