    Hi

    I recently updated my theme to 4.6.4. I hadn’t updated in a long time – and the only reason I did was because it was no longer compatible with my upgraded wordpress and my visual composer stopped working. The update caused major issues for me in that I had to manually put in all the site details via customiser to get it back to what it was and now that I’ve done that I’m finding the new updated system impossible to use.

    For example: on my home page I have a ‘recent posts’ element. Previously this was perfectly aligned with the rest of my site and now it seems impossible to fix spacing and image size on it. The only options I am given on settings of the container is to enter a unique id. Where have all the old change options gone??!

    The previous icons on feature headings now all seem to be gone too?

    Is there a tutorial I can view online or what is my best option? I’m finding the updated design completely unusable and I need this website up and running ASAP.

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    Hi Judy,

    I have activated the container of the row where your Recent Posts are place and it is fixed now.

    Try deleting your Feature Headlines and re-adding them.

    Let us know how it goes,

    Hi

    I have tried re-adding feature headlines but they still come up as black circles? Also the option to put in different icons is gone?

    I also see that on my home page, where I have a recent posts grid, the button for this is red even though I have set button colours in customiser as pink. How do I change this?

    For callout elements (also on home page). How do I edit text and target links? I also want to change callout size and text size. All these options appear to be gone since I updated?

    Please deactivate and delete x-shortcodes plugin then install cornerstone by Navigating to ADDons page.

    Hi there,

    It’s because of installation folder, instead of updating the existing /themes/x/, you installed a new copy of /themes/x updating/.

    Try renaming the /x updating/ to /x/, and rename the old one to something else.

    That should fix the license issue of the cornerstone. Then we’ll continue with other issues 🙂
