Nestor RentasParticipantSince the plugin update, when we use the Under Construction plugin , the site errors out and gets a 500 error. This is the only site we are getting this on so any insight would be great.

RupokMemberHi there,
I guess there is some conflict with the configuration of your hosting environment. You can reach to your provider and perhaps they will be able to track it down. Meantime since Under Construction is needed temporarily, you can just use another free plugin from plugin repository.
Thanks!

Nestor RentasParticipantRupok…We have 3 other sites on the same server that have no issues at all. Can you AT LEAST give me a starting point? I have 7 servers with Cloudways and many sites, all of which never give me issues so I need to be able to tell them SOMETHING other than I guess it’s a “Configuration” issue?

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
we have found that 500, or 503 errors are typically due to security settings or permissions errors with the server. you will need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to ensure that your file permissions are set correctly. Additionally, this could be related to a ModSecurity rule being triggered due to a combination of keywords used in the core WordPress files.. This should be able to be remedied by writing into the support team at your host and asking them to whitelist the ModSecurity rules on your domain.
Let us know how this goes!
