Any update on whether you can add a contact form to the under construction page? Pretty simple item yet a year or so now I haven’t seen it possible. Still need clients to be able to email me while updating the site. Thanks.

We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!

Thanks, but I know this was requested and roughly the exact same reply was added 2 years ago on another request for it. Why is something like this taking so long to address? If people cannot contact me while I update my site, what’s the purpose of an under construction page, might as well use another plug in from some one else. Disappointed a simple item has taken such a backseat.

    Hi There,

You can add your email link there and people will be able to contact you.

Alternatively you can choose to not use the Under Construction Plugin and create a landing page without header or footer, that way you can design your page with Cornerstone and your visitors won´t have access to the other pages.

To do that, when you create a page, on wordpress classic back end editor, under the blue update button you will find :

Page Attributes > Page Templates > Select: Blank No Container No Header No Footer.

While you are building your inner pages, make sure to save them as draft instead of published so they cannot be found on search engines.

    Hope that helps
