diamentowypiesParticipantSystem tells me that purchase code has been used. So it should mean that i fully validate the product but it does not work (for example automatic updates does not work and there are problems with cornenrstone which i described in another thread on cornerstone forum). I assume that maybe fully validate theme (and included plug-ins so) would work better.
Because there was a 6 months break in works on this project now i don’t remember what i did and what i did not validate and which code (purchase code, API code, mumbo jumbo mysterious code…) i used.
Even my kokpit does not look as you show in the knowledge base. I attached screen.
Anyway my licence is assigned to the site and i cannot work on it. Please help.September 5, 2016 at 1:46 pm #1161998
JoaoModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone if you have X license validated.
Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again. If still doesn’t work, please update Cornerstone manually by uploading it to ftp. Please check our our knowledge base to know how: https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
And do the process once again.
Hope this helps.

diamentowypiesParticipantThx for so quick answer. 😀
I try this and let know if it works.September 5, 2016 at 2:07 pm #1162026
diamentowypiesParticipantBut there is no way to revoking. There is no way to revoking validation in my wordpress ’cause i did not put API code (which i have no idea where to look for) :\
As you see on screen i atached there no magnificent glass icon next to number of licence as shown in every tutorial on this site. Why?
Not to mentioned that this url: https://www.your-domain.com leads to really strange places.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
You have an old version of X
You will need to perform a manual update of your website so you can validate.
We don´t work an longer with API key, now you will use your purchase code to validate your website.
Please follow these steps:
1. Revoke your API key from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.
https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/
2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache and delete the plugin X Shortcodes in case you have it installed.
3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
Let us know how it goes.

diamentowypiesParticipant1. There is no way to revoke API number in my Addons home. Possibly ’cause i did not activate it. I have only window to fill one in.
2. No way to revoke licence from my profile on Themco ’cause there no button or anything to do it.
And you can see it on screens i’ve attached above i can only attach or unattach site nothing else.September 8, 2016 at 9:53 am #1166501

JoaoModeratorHi There,
You have installed a older version of X as mentioned before, so at this time you will need to perform a manual update and than follow this steps.
1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.
2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
5] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/ -(if you haven´t assigned yet, just assigned it dont worry about revoking)
6] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
7] Go back to Wp Admin Dashboard > X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!Joao

diamentowypiesParticipantIt is working as far as i tried. Let You know if something would go wrong.
Two remarks: First. This adress —> https://www.your-domain.com. It is some mistake or i have a virus 🙂 ’cause it redirects me (via 5 or 6 other sites) to strange site with some film where i ran off faster that i get there. 🙂 Looks like toxic rubbish.
Second It looks like there’s no need to insert licence again after asigning site via themco account because there’s no even callout or any window to do it. I’ve just put purchase code once and it is ok.September 14, 2016 at 12:17 am #1174321
FriechModeratorGlad you sorted things out, should you require any further assistance with X|THEME and Cornerstone, please feel free to get in touch with us.
