    Hey there!
OK so here’s the thing. I have my main site mywebsite.com and have the license assigned to it.
Its a portfolio piece for myself and what I want to do is create a subdomain that uses a fresh X theme so I can style it completely differently from my main site.

So I’d have mywebsite.com but use demo.mywebsite.com to show a different look.

I thought I read on here that licenses are ok with multi-sites and subdomains. Yet, when I punch in my license code I get: “Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”

Is there a way around this by chance?
I dont want to buy another license since this its basically ONE personal website I am making.

    Thanks!

    Hey There,

    Thanks for posting in.
License will work in subdomains like http://www.yourdomain.com/subdomain however in subdomain.yourdomain.com it will not work and will require separate license.

You can revoke your existing API key and then generate a new one using your subdomain.

This thread might also help: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/problems-updatingapi-keydev-subdomain/

    Hope this helps.
