Trying out a non-x theme. Problem i that I found no option to uninstall it, just installing a new theme. Opening the Home page does not show the new theme, church is still active. I can change logo etc, but not the theme itself. Please advise.

Thanks for writing in! It seems you are referring the Church demo. It’s no a theme rather a set of pages and posts that we call demo. If you want to get rid of the demo; you need to remove the pages and posts and associated medias.

I did install a new theme, Comet. When opening browser, i get this:

This is not the activated Comet theme, but still the Church theme.So please help me to get rid of the remains of the Church theme so I can test the Comet theme. May be the only solution is to competly remove X?

Church is an expanded demo content in X. You can remove pages and posts to remove its content. Is ‘Comet’ a wordpress theme? If you want to use another theme, please disable X and activate another theme.

Comet is a WordPress theme bought from Envato Market. I have tried to explain I did activate the Comet theme, and only get the reminece of Church theme when starting browser. See the enclosed screenshot. So I want to remove x to be able to use another theme. I did remove the x-folder on server, and pages that the template did create. Still no luck. I have hired person to sort this out for me. So I think you can close the tab, will not revert to x. Sorry, but thats life.
