softdevelopeParticipantDear support,
We have recently purchased your product the X theme on themeforest and are unfortunately unable to validate it.
Indeed, during the validation process, the “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid.” message appears.
You will find the error details in the attachment.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

RahulModeratorHey There,
Thanks for writing in!
Could please do the following:
1] Please login to your account and assign the license. You need to assign the license to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
2] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.
And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: <a href=”https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
“>https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/Please let us know how it goes.

softdevelopeParticipantHello,
Thank you for your reply.
Per your suggestion, I have done the following actions :
– Added the definitions for FTP_USER, FTP_PASS and FTP_HOST in wp-config.php
– Deleted and re-installed the X theme and the conerstone plugin. However, when I attempt to validate the theme, I get the same error message so I conclude that there may still be an underlying problem with our wordpress configuration.
Do you have any more ideas?
Thank you for your time.
Best,

Rue NelModeratorHi Christian,
Thank you for the updates! This is somehow related to a change in WordPress core that affects the validation. Please check out this reply from @Alexander, one of our developers. You can check it out here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/regarding-404-errors-when-unable-to-validate/
Best Regards.

softdevelopeParticipantHi,
Thanks for the help! The fix described in the link worked!
Namely, installing curl support for PHP. (This could be listed as a requirement in your installation documentation in my opinion)
Best regards,
