    Hi,

    I have installed X’s Typekit addon, and am using typekit fonts throughout several sites. However, I cannot get these typekit fonts the appear in Revolution Slider. I found this thread:

    but that doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

    Hey Mateo,

    In that case, please disable X Typekit addon and follow https://www.themepunch.com/faq/use-adobe-typekit-fonts/

    Hi,

    Thanks for the answer – however it doesn’t work. The typekit fonts still do not show up in the font-list in Revolution Slider. Also, the fonts don’t show up any longer in X’s customizer, so I can’t do step 2 of your suggested solution.

    In addition, the browser now applies the chosen fonts after having loaded all content, which means the site changes appearance when being loaded. This wasn’t the case when X-typekit was active.

    Any other solutions?

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Hey Mateo,

    In this case, please enable X Typekit. It is not connected to Slider Revolution though so you will not see it in the back-end. But, since the Typekit font is loaded in the front-end, you can use that in your slider’s CSS.

    Hi, thanks for the answer. CSS could be used, but actually the answer proved a little more simple: although active fonts from typekit are not listed in the Revolution Slider font list, you can just type the font name there (between “”), and it will display correctly at the front end.

    The drawback is that the font in the back end (the slide builder) will not show correctly, you have to check at the front end. This is true also for the CSS solution. Hopefully Revolution Slider will incorporate Typekit properly soon!

    So to sum up for anybody stumbling upon this thread:
    – use the x-typekit addon
    – just type the name in Revolution Slider’s fontlist between “”. Check the proper way of writing the font name in your typekit kit.
    – inspect the result at front end.
