Hi there, I just purchased this theme and am impressed with what I’ve seen so far! Nice work!

I am using the Feature List item in my site and would like to turn each individual item into a link so that li.x-feature-box will be a link. I’m relatively comfortable with web development although have little experience with WordPress so if you are able to give me a pointer in the right direction I should be able to work it out.

Thanks very much,
Oliver.

Actually, could I please revise my question to: how do I turn entire columns into links?

Thanks,
Oliver.

Hi Oliver,

To turn it into a link, you’ll have to use column shortcodes.

http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/columns/

eg.

[column type="1/2"] Place your content in here. [/column]
[column type="1/2" last="true"] Place your content in here. [/column]

Hope that helps.

Hey Paul,
Thanks for your reply with the shortcodes. Unfortunately I don’t know where to place the shortcodes; I’ve only used shortcodes in the past while editing directly in WP, not while utilizing Cornerstone.
Also, if I use shortcodes to make the column a link, will I have to set all the customization through the shortcode as well, e.g. icon, headline, description etc.?

Thanks.

Hi There,

You can paste the shortcodes on a RAW content element or on a Text element. You can follow Paul’s advice or the other method provided here.

Yes, if you use shortcodes for columns, you need to use shortcodes for the content of that column as well.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi Friech,
Thanks for the link to the other method, that one worked (with an asterisk, it stripped away the animations, but I’ll ask about it on that thread.

Thanks!
