Hi there, I noticed when I run a GTMetrix Test on my website there are a few recommendations for “Serve Scaled Images”. I thought when you brought in an image into WordPress it automatically resizes down to several sizes. However, it looks like on our homepage, X Theme is using the largest size images. If you can please take a look at this link and provide me with any advice, I would really appreciate it.

    Hi Benjamin

    For example:

    https://www.aromaoutfitters.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Take-Care-of-Your-Body-1484×1484.jpg

This image for sure does not need to be 1484px width, your site is actually using half of it.

I like using page ruler addon from Chrome to measure sometimes, and once I have changed the images to the approximate size I need I upload them to tinypng.com so they get compressed than re-upload.

    Hope it helps
