Hi guys, I just bought the X theme and I’ve been trying to install in an Amazon Web Service base on Linux.

After properly install the wordpress sw, I did all steps in your tutorial (community.theme.co/kb/theme-installation) until browse the zip file and press Install Now; after this i got another screen which ask me to connect via FTP (service that I don’t currently have).

    I did some changes to my php.ini increasing the upload_max_file to 64M – the post_max_size to 128 – the memory_limit to 256MB and the max_execution_time to 300

I would appreciated your help in this case to start working with your Theme, thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing.

You can simply get in touch with your web host for the FTP details as they can provide you with it.

They also manage the PHP memory limit so you could ask them to check it for you.

Another option is to manually uploading the theme but it will require you FTP details so that you could upload the theme files.

Let us know if you need further clarification.

Hi Jade, there’s no way around to not use the FTP connection?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. You should have access to your file wither with FTP or cPanel File Manager. So if you don’t want to use FTP then you can go with the cPanel File Manager.

    Cheers!
