This is my first time working with a wordpress theme, so please excuse my stupidity.

I started out trying to make a page using the cornerstone builder, but was having a hard time customizing it (like adding an anchor tag to the image in a feature box). So then I decided to just make the page in the wordpress dashboard, where you create/edit a page, and using the css file (im using a child theme of the xtheme) in appearance -> editor.

So, I started trying to make a flexbox grid and container for this page, but when I try and add simple parameters to a CSS class I made, (such as text-align:center; or margin-top: 50px !important;) it doesn’t work…..if I pull it up in dev-tools and add it there it works, but its not showing the class i added to the CSS file in wordpress (im also making sure to update the CSS file and HTML file after I make any changes)

What am I doing wrong? Is the theme just overriding my custom css classes & parameters? If so is there a complete list of all CSS classes for Xtheme? I found these two but they have barely anything on them:

    http://visualicity.com/utility-classes/
    https://community.theme.co/kb/css-class-index/

is there a complete list out there for ALL classes? Or what am I doing wrong to get my stuff to work?

    Thanks for the help!
