    Hello,

    I’m using the customizer and trying to add a text widget to the footer. Any of the other items I add show up in preview and I can save, but each time I try to add a text widget, the text doesn’t preview and if i try to Save and Publish, it just hangs forever. Eventually I just close and leave the page.

    Any ideas about what could be causing this?

    I’ve deleted transients repeatedly to no avail.

    Thanks for any ideas!

    Hi There,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi There,

    You already activated in Appereance Customizer Footer > 4 Widgets Area.

    Now you need to go to Appereance Widgets and drag and drop whatever footer widget you want to to area 1 2 3 and 4 from your footer.

    I have added a text widget without a problem.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in .

    I have ran some testes and it seems like an isolated problem to your installation.

    You could try testing for plugin conflict.

    To do that turn off every thirdy party plugin and test it again.

    Let us know how it goes.

    In the meanwhile you can use the WordPress Widget Tab.
