Ian_BonnerParticipantI have tried to add Google Analytics to my website but unfortunately I have now been locked out!
————————————————–
The error message I am getting is:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /www/sites/baa/60b/www.bcreativebranding.co.uk/web/wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php on line 17
————————————————–
Would it be possible for someone to have a look at it for me please?
I will provide the code underneath with my login details.
X-Theme, Cornerstone and WordPress are fully updated and I am using Integrity stack.
Thank you in advance.

RahulModeratorHey There,
Thanks for writing in!
It seems an Internal script problem which can be fixed by following this thread. https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/google-analytics-cant-verify-problem/
Let us know how it goes!

Ian_BonnerParticipantThank you for your reply. The problem is that I can’t login to change the code. Now when I attempt to login to the dashboard I get the error message I posted in the first comment.
Thanks in advance.

RadModeratorHi there,
You added it directly to your child theme’s functions.php. Analytics is HTML code and not a PHP code. I went ahead and fixed it.
Cheers!
