I would like the option to set-up a transparent header with a single click of a button. I have already seen a lot of answers to this question, which state to solve this problem with CSS, but I would like to avoid CSS and JavaScript as much as possible. I know how I can solve this with CSS, but it costs to much time to do this for each site. A lot of other themes provide this functionality out of the box.

Is it possible to hook or filter into the metaboxes attached to a page or post (using a child theme), add an option transparent header and hook onto the header classes output in the main header element, adding something like x-transparent-header?

I also know that the integrity stack has an option for setting-up a transparent header site-wide. That is actually not what I am looking for.

I am running the most recent version of X.

    Hi There,

We have an awesome header builder on the way that will come full of possibilities, we are still working on the last details to ensure we will release something that will bring the header customization to the next level, it should be out soon, maybe next month, but that is my personal guess we cannot provide an ETA.

For now you need to use CSS. If you let us know what you want to achieve we will gladly help you, but via CSS and JS if necessary.

    Thanks for understanding,

    Joao

    Ha Joao,

Thanks for the update, looking forward to it! I am able to sort it out myself with CSS/JS, won’t bother you with that :).

    All the best,

    Michiel
