Ying-Fu LiParticipantHi,
I used nl_NL.po on this site http://dehartenvriend.nl but all is in English on the front end. Could you check for me please? I have never, ever been able to just have a Dutch website: there’s always something wrong woth the translation. Now it concerns, among others, the ‘type and search’ text and the ‘read more’ texts on the post excerpts.

RupokMemberHi there,
It seems Dutch on my end. Here goes a screencast on my end – http://prntscr.com/crq1un
Thanks!

Ying-Fu LiParticipantSure, that is the content of the homepage. Have you clicked on the search icon? Did you check the blog page (Uit het hart)?

ChristianModeratorHey there,
I see the language file setup correctly however, there seems to be a problem with your WordPress setup particularly how your directory is setup like WooCommerce is installed but it could not be found in the plugins folder. Would you mind testing on other web hosts such as https://pantheon.io/. Setting up a test site is free.
Please also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thanks.

Ying-Fu LiParticipantFound it. Apparently the languages files in the child theme folder don’t have any effect. After I uploaded the po files to X folder it took.

ChristianModeratorGlad you’ve sorted it out.
