Hi.
I have problem with how to enable the translations for x-woo commerce-wpml My Account sub menu
Something strange is going on here.

(Mitt Konto = My Account)

When pressing Adresses I get a 404.

Is X not compatible with wpml 100% ?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! You also need to translate WooCommerce plugin especially if more of the keywords is not translated by default. To know how you can translate WooCommerce, please check it from here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

And to make sure that you have properly translated the WooCommerce urls, please go to WMPL > WooCommerce Multilingual > Store URLs. To know more about this: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#urls

Hi.
Thanks. I have read the documentation and made the changes in WooCommerce/Stor URL´s.
It won´t update as I think it would.
See images attached. The url is not the one that I have typed.
Cache is emptyed several times, also Cloudflare cache.
I have no clue about what is happening. I have searched wpml and woocommerce for solution and they refer to not compability with theme.

Any clue?

Hi there,

Please check again, I flushed your permalinks by going to Admin > Settings > Permalinks. Seems to be working on my end, and I don’t see 404 from your provided links.

The 404 are not there but the URL´s for Addresses and Account Details (swedish one) are still wrong. I would believe that is what causing the issue. No change.
If you compare the english and swedish they are different. If you press addresses you cannot edit your address.

Any more ideas?

Looks like the slug rewrite affects the query_var between pages, hence, it’s treated just the same page. I’m not really sure how it works but you may contact the plugin author as they are more familiar how it runs.

That would be WooCommerce. As I said. They think it might be a theme incompatibility.

Hi there,

X theme has no functionality like string translation nor slug rewrite. X theme doesn’t even modify the global queries, you should contact the plugin author. It’s the author of the plugin you use for translation and not the Woocoomerce author.

URL or slug rewrite is just changing the string, but it has no effect on query_var by default.

Example, let’s say this is the Original skug /edit-account/ben/ and it represent the query_var ?lang=en&action=edit-account&name=ben. Then you decided to translate it into /kontouppgifter/ben/, but the query_var is still the same. Hence, it will still display the same page (en). Query_var is the one responsible for the query and variables. Rewriting the slug may also require changing the query_var.

That’s just a sample, the implementation may be different depending on your plugin author, you should contact them.
