    Hi,

I built my website on localhost on my Mac (MAMP).

I was in the process of transferring the site from my localhost to my live site (I’ve never done this before) using instructions from the link below:
    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-from-local-server-to-live-site/

I exported the database from myphpadmin into a zip file, modified it to change the http://localhost/ to http://formsupreme.com/

I also modified the config.php file to change in the right username and passwords.

After I had exported the database and modified it as well as the config.php file my localhost site stopped working. I updated the config file back to original (at least I think) but still the localhost site is broken displaying “Error establishing database connection”.

I uploaded the localhost wordpress files to the live site using FTP program.

    3. I got stuck at creating a database because I already have a database for the site and for formsupreme.com and don’t know if I should delete them and start a new one or what the heck.

Also not sure how to get my localhost site back working.

Can anyone help me out of this pickle? Thank you kindly 🙂

    Hey Yousa,

We’re sorry but migration issues fall outside the scope of our support. Please contact your web host or a web developer. We also have a guide for it https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/

    Thanks.
